Walapei Adult Retreat
The Walapei Adult Retreat is a weekend respite-retreat program for individuals with a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder who are 18 years of age or older. The retreat is held in the fall and is open to a limited number of participants. The programs include a strong emphasis on Music, Arts and Crafts, Horseback riding and making friends. This program is conducted by TEAAM staff and volunteers and offers a similar experience that Kamp Kaleidoscope provides but with less rigorous demands. Participants of the Walapei Retreat are often “graduates” Of Kamp Kaleidoscope and offer this group an ongoing opportunity to participate in outdoor adventure and fun.
